Thank you, Eric and your team, for this beautiful collection on video. It whets the painting appetite to get outdoors, to love this country, and to protect it so that we always have those landscapes to paint.

I am very passionate about painting outside…so crazy that I am the only one that paints alone at the coconut grove harbor and soon about to demolish the whole place…so I have a mission to document the site including the town hall..pretty soon will be gone forever…This video has proven me right all along, I have developed the love of plein air and will continue to support your movement..here in Miami I will make a lot of noise about it…i even started a club…The Painters Club…used to have five members but there’s only two left..but mostly just me…for now…my persistence should pay off one day…thank you for all your great encouragement…happy painting guys!

Thank you for this very inspiring video. I especially enjoyed the history of plein air painters. I’ve been plein air painting for many years and love it and this was an encouragement to keep on!

As a member of both the Peace River and Light Chasers plein air groups, I really appreciate your effort to identify and support the re-emerging trend in current plein air painting. For a beginner like myself, painting outside has been amazing. Each day painting is a new lesson where techniques and ideas are learned. He benefits are many and include working alongside of master painters, traveling to new places, and being inspired by nature. Muir got it right when he wrote, in Steep Trails (1918), chapter 9, “In every walk with nature, one receives far more than [s]he seeks.” Thank you for this lovely video.
