Use our directory to find an artist in your area. If you don't find one, search 'artist', 'plein air', and your town or area and contact them to see if they teach, or know someone who does. You may also find a plein air club in your area offering classes, and its members may invite you to paint with them.
I live in Colorado high country, Grand County, 75 miles NW of Denver. I’ve been painting Plein Air for about 10 years and love to share the knowledge I’ve gained with others by teaching. I have taught both at our local history museum, Cozens Ranch Museum and privately.
“I aim to capture the mood when I am painting. To catch a single moment in time I use light, shadow, weather, color, and feel. I paint primarily with oils en plein air. I also spend time in my studio working from photographs and studies.”
Linda Marino teaches in a relaxed and friendly environment for absolute beginners to those who want to improve their skills. We will meet up at my studio or on location along the Connecticut Shore, from rocky craigs to sandy beaches, salt water marshes to New England farms, quaint coastal villages to marinas and more. Weekly classes or one day workshops.
Cape Coral and St. Augustine
Join our paint-outs on Wed. a.m. and Fri. a.m.
I teach workshops during Jan. Feb. Mar. in the Ft. Myers Beach, Cape Coral, and Ft. Myers areas.
Also, let me know if you want to paint out in St. Augustine, Fl.
Come with me and learn to paint indoors and out. I offer painting classes in my home studio and surrounding area as well as national and international plein air workshops. Things look better through the artist’s eye; learn to see the world through the eyes of a painter.
