Use our directory to find an artist in your area. If you don't find one, search 'artist', 'plein air', and your town or area and contact them to see if they teach, or know someone who does. You may also find a plein air club in your area offering classes, and its members may invite you to paint with them.
I am a pastel and oil painter. The groups I paint with are willing to assist, help, critique, and mentor everyone who participates in the paint outs.
From time to time I will go out and paint alone or with one or two other artists. Tucson affords many, many opportunities for painting out doors.

A signature member of National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, San Diego Watercolor Society and LPAPA, Shuang’s artworks have long been favored by collectors, also regularly exhibited in national and international galleries and group shows, with many honorable awards. With her extensive teaching background, Shuang has been regularly invited by art organizations for her popular plein air painting demonstrations, art workshops and classes. She also frequently serves as an invited juror for art competitions and art exhibitions.
I’m a California native, living and painting in Humboldt County on the northern California coast. I’m always interested in finding new areas to paint. I travel and paint during several trips throughout the year, with a particular focus on the California landscape.
