Plein Air Convention
The Plein Air Convention is the largest gathering of outdoor artists in the world. Held each year in a different beautiful place, the convention features daily painting as a group (as many as 700-800 painters), instruction, and demonstrations from a faculty of about 80 top-level artists, plus a giant expo hall of art materials. The Publisher’s Invitational
Each year PleinAir publisher B. Eric Rhoads hosts painters in the Adirondack Mountains of New York to paint together for a week. Limited to 125 painters, the event sells out early, and is all-inclusive (meals, lodging and event). To learn more, visit


Fall Color Week/Publisher’s Invitational
